U Pipe Solar Collector

 U Pipe Solar Collector

The U type series solar collector are always connected with existing heating supply device, The selective coating on the inner cover of the evacuated tube converts solar energy into heat energy and transfers heat to metal U pipe by an aluminum fin. The liquid (usually a glycol-water antifreeze mixture) in the metal U tube is heated, and conducts the heat energy to the water inside the storage tank through plate exchanger or internal spiral coils.
The U pipe collector adopt the fins with fast radiation speed so it has the advantage of high temperature and fast heat transfer speed. There is no water in the vacuum tubes, the water scale will not come into being, so there is no damage of blast and the lifetime is longer and performance is better.

Note:
1. 58-1800 is the diameter and length of the vacuum tube (mm)
2. manifold is made of aluminium, thickness is 2.2 mm.
3. Bracket is made of aluminium alloy, natural color.

3. Characters and advantages of heat pipe and U pipe collector:
1.) Reliable and efficient twin-glass solar tube+ heat pipe+ aluminum fins
2. )System can operate under high pressure (up to 8 bar/116psi)
3.) Adopt heat-tube heating technology, has low starting temperature, rapid diathermancy and high heat efficiency.
4.) Collector is separate from water tank and achieves integration with architecture and form an integrated part of architecture
5. )There is no water in the vacuum tube, so the tube will not break in winter.
6. )System can combine with existing energy source such as electric heater and boiler.
7.) It can be still operate in the event of occasional tube breakages.
8.) Manifold connection: 22mm Heat pipe:copper TU1,φ8×0.8。
9.)System can operate in cold temperature because it use anti-freeze liquid.
